What to expect, week by week.

Week 1–2, "Actives reach the follicle": nothing visible yet — this phase is preparation, not proof, the scalp can feel cleaner and less tight after the nightly application, and there is nothing to feel or look for beyond that, because what settles in these two weeks is the ritual itself. Week 3–6, "Resting hairs shed": you may notice more shedding, this is expected, and it is a temporary shed — more hairs than usual in the shower or on the pillow — which is where the protocol is decided, since a shed that starts on schedule settles on schedule and stopping now walks out mid-cycle; most men stop here, but it's also the phase everything after it depends on, so stay consistent. Week 7–11, "Follicles strengthen": shedding settles and the noise quietens down, there is still little to see in the mirror because the work is happening at the follicle, not the surface, nothing cosmetic shows yet and that is this phase doing its job, while existing hair may hold its shape better and the visible change belongs to the next phase. Week 12–16, "Hair comes in thicker": this is the first window where change may become visible — existing hairs may read thicker where thinning had become noticeable — diameter is the change to watch, shafts may come through fuller over successive cycles, not finer, and the shift is subtle and best judged in the same mirror, in the same light, with individual response varying. Week 16+, "Stay in the ritual": consistency is the protocol, the work compounds month over month rather than plateauing for as long as the ritual continues, and the effect depends on continued use, because DHT activity at the scalp does not pause, so neither does the ritual.
